德州仪器推基于ARM Cortex-M4平台单片机TM4C129x

10月30日消息,据外媒Electronicsweekly报道,德州仪器 (TI) 宣布推出了基于ARM Cortex-M4 平台的单片机Tiva TM4C129x,集成了以太网MAC和PHY特点,用以支持互联网连接,主要应用于工业控制领域。

Tiva TM4C129x 配备256K字节集成SRAM、6K字节EEPROM,可扩展的512K字节 1MB闪存。这个级别的内存将支持人机界面功能的终端液晶显示技术的开发。

TIVA DK-TM4C129x 连接开发工具包,配有两个BoosterPack连接端口;开发套件TI MCU LaunchPad生态系统可以直接连接到互联网。集成开发生态系统包括德州仪器 (TI)嵌入式处理器系列的集成开发环境 (IDE) Code Composer Studio (CCStudio)、以及第三方工具和软件支持。

此前,德州仪器提供了TMS370和MSP430两大系列通用单片机。TMS370系列单片机是8位CMOS单片机,具有多种存储模式、多种外围接口模式,适用于复杂的实时控制场合;MSP430系列单片机是一种超低功耗、功能集成度较高的16位低功耗单片机,特别适用于要求功耗低的场合。

单片机主要应用于照明、传感、运动、显示器和开关。现代人类生活中所用的手机、电话、计算器、家用电器、电子玩具、掌上电脑以及鼠标等电子产品中都含有单片机。由运算器、控制器、存储器、输入输出设备构成,相当于一个微型的计算机(最小系统),和计算机相比,单片机缺少了外围设备。

with a scalable 512kbyte to 1MB flash memory.

This level of memory will support the development of LCD terminal displays with human-machine interface capabilities.

There are also data protection fumctions including tamper protection provided by hardware acceleration of key encryption/decryption functions and cyclic redundancy check (CRC).

There is development support with the Tiva DK-TM4C129x Connected Development Kit which includes two ports for BoosterPack connectivity, making this development kit the first of its class to directly connect the TI MCU LaunchPad ecosystem to the Internet.

The development ecosystem includes TI’s Eclipse-based Code Composer Studio integrated development environment (IDE), along with third-party tools and software.

Typical controller applications will include lighting, sensing, motion, display and switching, using sensor aggregation capabilities with 10 I2C ports, two fast, accurate 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), two quadrature encoder inputs, three on-chip comparators, external peripheral interface.

Tiva TM4C129x MCUs add an additional 20 devices to the Tiva C Series portfolio and are priced starting at $6.24 per 10K. The Tiva DK-TM4C129x Connected Development Kit is available for $199.

The CC3000 BoosterPack includes Wi-Fi. TivaWare software and TI’s Code Composer Studio v.5 IDE are available for download.
